Counselling Fees

I’m committed to offering high-quality, compassionate counselling while keeping fees transparent and fair. The rates reflect the time we spend together as well as the professional preparation and ongoing professional development required to maintain high-quality care. My life and professional experience along with qualifications mean you receive tailored, empathetic support that’s grounded in years of learning and practical knowledge.

Face-to-Face Counselling – $130 per session*

Sessions are held at Healing Hooves Inc. in Nerang, a charity run organisation that brings Horses with Special Needs and Humans with Special Needs together to find Compassion, Empathy, Connection and Purpose. This fee includes funds to Healing Hooves to support them with care of the horses and maintenance of the property. No access to paddocks but the horses may choose to say hello over the fence.

Online / Phone Counselling – $110 per session*

Convenient and flexible, these sessions are conducted via a secure video platform or over the phone, allowing you to access support from wherever you are.

LEGO®-Based Therapy Groups

Each group session includes:
• 1.5 hours therapist-facilitated group therapy
• Participant-specific Non-Face-to-Face therapeutic preparation and documentation where required and completed

For a group of three participants, the current indicative face-to-face cost per participant is $78.08 per session, calculated using the current NDIS hourly rate for Counsellors divided by the number of participants, in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits 2025–26 (v1.1). In most cases, total per-session costs are expected to fall between $78 and $100 per participant, depending on individual therapeutic preparation needs.*

Total per-session costs may vary depending on:
• Final group size
• Actual participant-specific Non-Face-to-Face time required and completed

Participants and families will be provided with a clear estimate of expected funding requirements prior to term commencement.

Non-Face-to-Face Therapeutic Support

Where required and completed, additional participant-specific Non-Face-to-Face (Nf2f) time may be claimed in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements.

This may include:

  • Individualised therapeutic session planning aligned to the participant’s goals
  • Adaptation of group activities to meet specific regulation, communication or social needs
  • Participant-specific clinical documentation and progress reflection
  • Preparation directly required to enable the participant’s therapeutic engagement in the group

Non-Face-to-Face time is:

  • claimed where the activity directly relates to the individual participant
  • not claimed for administrative tasks (such as bookings, service agreements or payment processing)
  • only charged for time actually completed
  • pre-authorised within the Service Agreement

Participants and families will be informed in advance of the estimated funding required per term.

Private Clients

Private clients are charged using the same pricing structure to ensure fairness and consistency across all participants.

NDIS

As an independent provider (not NDIS registered), I support participants who are self-managed or plan-managed with relevant funding. All services are delivered in accordance with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits applicable at the time of service.

It remains the responsibility of the Participant and/or Plan Manager to ensure sufficient funding is available within the Participant’s NDIS plan.

* Fees are reviewed periodically to reflect changes in NDIS Pricing Arrangements and the ongoing costs of professional practice. Rates are current as of February 2026 and may be subject to change.
