LEGO Club (LEGO®-Based Therapy Groups)

LEGO-Based Therapy is a structured, evidence-informed group intervention that supports the development of social communication, emotional regulation, problem-solving and collaboration skills. All in a fun, strengths-based environment.
The structured, collaborative nature of LEGO®-Based Therapy provides a natural opportunity for participants to practise communication, problem-solving and emotional regulation in real time. The shared task creates both motivation and gentle challenge, allowing skills to develop in a supported and engaging way.
Groups are facilitated by a registered counsellor and delivered within a therapeutic framework that prioritises emotional safety, ethical practice and developmentally appropriate support. Sessions are intentionally small to support connection and meaningful participation. Individual sessions and support also available.
Therapy may support goals related to:
- Social communication and interaction
- Turn-taking, cooperation and teamwork
- Emotional regulation and frustration tolerance
- Confidence, leadership and flexible thinking
- Peer connection and sense of belonging
LEGO-Based Therapy groups are designed to support children and young people with a wide range of social, emotional and developmental needs. Groups are often a great fit for neurodivergent participants. This includes autistic and ADHD children, as well as young people experiencing anxiety, low mood, adjustment challenges, or school-related stress. Each group is thoughtfully adapted to suit the developmental stage, communication style and support needs of the participants involved.
